How to create e-mail alert in AX 2012

If you want to update alerts in AX 2012, there is have easiest way to show as Popup alert and e-mail alerts is there. Follow the steps if you want to create in AX 2012.

Go to System administrator > Setup > System > E-mail parameter

•          On E-mail parameter mention your Outgoing mail server, Local Computer name, User name and password for the particular user name.

•          Save and close it.

Go to System administrator > Common > Users > Users

•          Select the user whom you want to send the e-mail alert notification, and go to Options mention your mail id, in general tab.

•          Then go to notification and set the receive notification time as 1 minute, mark the send notifications in email.

•          Save and close it.

Go to Organization administration > Setup > E-mail Templates

•          Mark the show system e-mails button
•          There you create a new record and mention the particular mailed which you want to receive.
•          In bottom of the form, what message you want to display on your mail box.
•          There you select the language and subject of the message you want to get.
•          Select the E-mail message there; have to create a content which you want to show on your mail box.
•          Save and close it.

Then Right click the button from the particular form, where you want to create an alert. Click the Create alert rule and set the alert as your wish.

Go to specific module workflow which you want to set the alert and create a new workflow.
